January seems to have flown by. Even if scientists say that it is the toughest month when it comes to "feeling low", my January was quiet interesting - that's maybe it passed so quickly.
I have re-discovered TextPattern and a couple of other web applications such as WordPress and BlogCMS that revolve around the same concept: Content Management Systems (CMS for short) focused on blogging. Drupal also looks a strong contender, but there is something about TextPattern that make it my favorite. Next update of this website will be powered by TextPattern and not Mambo as I mentioned in the January article.
More interesting than what my website will be powered by, are the new Apple hotties: Mac Mini, iPod Shuffle and the new range of Powerbooks. iLife '05 and iWorks '05 is also worth mentioning here. No wonder Apple made "a couple" heads turn... and was chosen the brand to have the biggest global impact for 2004 as BrandChannel reports.
Among other things, I started toying with RSS. If you're interested in fresh, world-wide info, take a look at this short article on RSS and RSS readers.
Before I call it an article, I would strongly advise you to switch to Firefox (mainly if on Windows). Internet Explorer and security November post tries to explain why Firefox is the best option when it comes to web surfing from a PC. If you aren't using Firefox already, now it's your chance to join the ranks of those who did something about the security risk that Internet Explorer was exposing them to.
